will consider for publication original papers, review articles, and teaching materials
concerning all aspects of language and linguistic study. Topics:
The scope of the journal includes both theoretical and applied topics in language
studies, linguistics and language teaching. Submissions: The types
of submission accepted include: *
articles of general, applied or theoretical interest in any one or combination
of more than one of the main topic areas of the journal, that is: theoretical
and applied topics in language studies, linguistics and language teaching.

Journal of Language and Learning accepts articles in English only. Manuscripts
are received with the understanding that they are submitted solely to The Journal
of Language and Learning, and that none of the material contained in the manuscript
has been published previously or is under consideration for publication elsewhere,
excluding abstracts. The publisher reserves copyright on all published
material, and material may not be reproduced without the written permission of
the publisher. Statements and opinions are the responsibility of the
authors. How to Submit: Submit a complete computer-readable version,
in Word for Windows or HTML. Arrange the manuscript as follows: title
page, abstract, text, references, bibliography. All illustrations and
images should be submitted as PCX, BMP, JPG or GIF black and white or 256 colors,
minimum, according to the Windows standard. Title Page: The title,
author's name (including full first or middle names and qualifications). Include
the name of the institution at which the work originated plus the full name, exact
mailing address with postal code, telephone and Fax numbers of the author to whom
communication, proofs and requests for reprints should be sent, as well as an
email address for the public contact of the author. In case your institution has

An abstract should be submitted, of 100 to 250 words. Abbreviations should not
be used. Text: Appropriate headings and subheadings should be
provided at the discretion of the author. Figures and tables should be
cited in the text with numbers assigned according to the order of mention in the
text. Brief acknowledgements may appear at the end of the text, before
the references. References and Bibliography: Personal communications,
manuscripts in preparation and other unpublished data are not cited in the reference
list or bibliography but may be mentioned in the text in parentheses.
Journal references should contain inclusive page numbers; book references if appropriate
should cite specific page numbers. Authors may use any established referencing
system and bibliographical presentation. Figures: Submit all figures
as separate computer files adhering to the 256 color or black and white BMP, PCX,
JPG or GIF standards. |
